alex los angeles, CaMe and my wife had dinner there last week after the holidays season on a friday night... AMAZING! it was a trek but it was worth it. we both had the chefs tasting menu and the wild boar saddle, which is now one of my favorite cuts of meat. the wine list is impressive as well. We will come back. January 11, 2007
Michael Valencia, CAWe dined at our favorite resturant on the 5th of January. As always, service, food and atmosphere was wonderful. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can find fault with Saddlepeak Lodge. My partner had the Elk, again, and I tried the Pork Chop for the first time. Amazing, sublime! I have never had such a moist and flavorfull chop. Save room for dessert too, try the sampler, decadent. January 2, 2007
Joan Ryan Minnetonka, MNOur party of 11 was directed to a table for 5-6 with FOLDING CHAIRS. A dirty ice bucket, left from an earlier party, remained with us all evening. The service was non-existant, the food substandard. After waiting 2 1/2 hours our food arrived cold. The "management" was a zombie-like hostess who claimed she had no authority to take any compensatory action. The finale to our evening was finding the valet's family asleep in a car next to his station. December 23, 2006
Ron Los Angeles, CAI was there in August 2006 for my daughters birthday, the service and food need improvement. The waitress was slow and forgetful. I asked the manager how long the waitress had been employed at the Lodge and his answer was many months and yes, she could improve - keeping an employee who is not cutting the mustard is just bad management. The food was less than satisfactory the meat was chewy, the bus staff was slow. Overall, less than satisfactory management, food and service. June 18, 2006
Karen Washburn Oak Park, CAWhere else could you wear blue jeans with sports jacket and be served with excellence from the staff. All of the dishes from appetizer to desserts are fabulous. The chef's dinner sampler is a great way to taste their creative variety. Love the special touches such as a choice of lime with one's water. May 20, 2006
Don Woodland Hills, CaWe have been here several times in the last year, and on New Years.....when you would expect food or service to suffer. Not so! If anything..it was even better than the time before. EVERYTHING is just INCREDIBLE! Ambiance, service, staff personality and of course...the Food is....amazing!!! February 3, 2006
Jennifer Los Angeles, CAPHENOMENAL!! The atmosphere, food, and service were all fabulous. Don't leave without trying the Elk and for those who are a fan of variety the Game sample platter was unreal. We requested a specific table and it was ready when we walked in. We can't wait to go back! August 18, 2005
Jason Johnson PASADENA, CAThis is a fantastic place for a romantic meal. The elk is amazing, along with every other dish we had. I particularly enjoyed the butter and rock salt. Pricey, but it was worth every penny. Return to Saddle Peak Lodge venue details
