Open End Installation highlighting Greek and Roman antiquities from 2500 B.C. to the 6th century A.D. Through Jun. 15 Through Jun. 8 Through Aug. 10 An exhibition of notable works from the museum's photography collection. Open End The museum has installed its newly acquired 1892 Paul Gauguin painting, "Arii Matamoe (The Royal End)," in its 19th Century galleries, and a severed head on a platter has never looked more ravishingly creepy. May. 25 Jack Miles, former Times' books editor and unassuming author of "God: A Biography," leads a discussion with artists and scholars about images of Christ and their relationship to art history and theology. |
