Living Desert Zoo and Gardens

This botanical park replicates all 10 deserts of North America and several African ones, and more than 450 animals are showcased. "Wildlife Wonders" shows at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m daily offer a 20-minute introduction to visitors. Docents provide walking tours and demonstrations with owls, eagles and falcons. The new wildlife hospital offers visitor viewing. There are two restaurants, snack bars, restrooms and a gift and book shop.
