UNITED THEY STAND - 1919
Charlie Chaplin, D.W. Griffith, Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford form United Artists in a bid to control their own work. One movie mogul is quoted as saying “The Lunatics have taken charge of the asylum.”
