There were two unlikely winners Saturday at the 25th annual Razzie Awards saluting the year's worst moviegoing experiences: a recent Oscar winner and a recently reelected president of the United States.

President Bush, in fact, was a double winner, thanks to his appearance in the Michael Moore documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11": He was named worst actor in a leading role, and half of the worst screen couple (with — take your pick — either Condoleezza Rice or "My Pet Goat," the book he was reading to schoolchildren on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001).

Halle Berry, meanwhile, who only three years ago was celebrating a best actress Academy Award for "Monster's Ball," was chosen worst actress in a leading role for "Catwoman," a film that also garnered Razzies for worst film of 2004, worst director (Pitof) and worst screenplay (John Brancato, Michael Ferris, Theresa Rebeck and John Rogers).

The tongue-in-cheek Razzies were handed out in Hollywood by the Golden Raspberry Foundation, which times its announcements to Academy Award weekend to remind people of the films and performances that did not come close to measuring up to Oscar consideration. Razzie founder John Wilson said there were at least 675 voters this year, including film professionals, film journalists and film fans.

Other winners were Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and pop star Britney Spears for their supporting appearances in "Fahrenheit 9/11," and "Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" for worst remake or sequel.

And, since this was the Razzies' silver anniversary, awards also were given to the worst films of the last 25 years: "Gigli" (comedy, 2003), "Battlefield Earth" (drama, 2000) and "From Justin to Kelly" (musical, 2003). Actor-turned-governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was chosen worst Razzie loser of the last 25 years, given to "the performer who's amassed the most nominations without 'winning' a Razzie." He has eight nominations.
