Great food with authentic Italian service. This place was recommended to me by a friend for any important business dinners and I have to say everyone one of my clients loved the place. I suggest everyone go at least once and I know you will become a regular like me.

La Terza is a gem! The food is superb, and the waiters are so friendly and helpful that it becomes hard not to feel like you are a regular. The comfortable setting allows you to relax and thoroughly enjoy your amazing meal. The italian charm radiates from La Terza as all of the waiters are actual italians and not just actors waiting tables on the side. It is an experience not to be missed!

What strikes me as strange is the previous posters who comment that it will take several visits to appreciate La Terza. I think that what they are actually saying is that it will take La Terza several times to greet you properly and deliver your food and wine as you ordered it in a timely fashion. Why is it that on the 3 occasions that I visited La Terza I felt ignored and neglected?

Gino Angelini is, hands down, the best Italian chef in LA. When he's at the stoves, which is frequently of late, be prepared for a treat. A recent Friday night special of short ribs over polenta was sublime. Our party of five encountered none of the misgivings listed below. I'd go back for more of this authenticl cooking in a heartbeat.

I know many of the top wine geeks and foodies in this town, and we all love La Terza. Many dine there several times a week. La Terza has become THE place for wine tasting lunches and dinners. In addition, many movie industry folks have made this their secret "commissary." La Terza is best experienced over several visits. Get to know owners Claudio and Gino. After a few visits you will become part of the "family" and feel like you are eating in your grandmother's house.

Maybe someone from La Terza ought to read these reviews. I know dozens of people who have eaten here and all of them say the same thing that it is a total rip off

agree that it isn't as it was last year. Still, they have more skill and authentic ragu taste than almost any other Italian restaurant in LA. Inconsistent though. Also way way too salty on the beef and game dishes...and I am not saltphobic.

Ate there last Friday for my bday--big mistake! Food and service has been much better in the past. Our waiter was slow and unattentive, although the reataurant was virtually empty by 930p. Aside from the pastas, which still remain good, the food was common and unmemorable. The grilled meats, a usual high point, were dry and over cooked. The special octopus salad was tasteless. Happy to say that my meal at Angelini Osteria a few weeks earlier was excellent.

Not worth it! Lots of better restaurants in town. They just don't get good service and I don't know why. They are great at apologizing but even after that they drop the ball. I was a guest of a friend and I really felt bad for his embarrasment.

I agree with the last poster I wonder if virbila was paid off or something. I read a write up on La Terza in the Wine Spectator a few months ago in which they were equally ga-ga over it. There is no way that one who appreciates fine dinig would ever give this place more than 1/2 star at most. It was an excruciating experience. For the prices they charge it really is disgusting.
