for those saying it was a disappointment did not try the chile nogada, the flavor explosion was in one word awesome.

I've eaten here 2x & would go back again. The soups are delicious. I had the ranchero consommé that was delicious & served with flair. I've eaten the pipian and mole here : very good. Guacamole is thick & chunky- seasoned just right to be tasty while letting the avocado be the premier flavor. The salsas, which I believe to be the qualifier of a good Mexican rest. , are delicious. The green has great roasted flavor & red is spicy and sublty nutty.

I have been at La Huasteca twice and is for only special ocassions. The first time i visited we fall in love with the taste of the food it's authentic mexican flavor. Home made taste! The mole, the salmon, and the way the serve their chips it's really good and original.

Disappointed I am Mexican and I would not recommentd this place. Service is horrible 1st they bring the wrong drink, then the I order fish and I get chicken. The worse part is that another waiter must have realized it was for his table, he just came and took the plate away, there was no "excuse me" or "sorry for the mistake" nothing. The food was terrible would not recommend this place , thumbs down all around.

We were very disappointed with our visit to the Huasteca Restaurant. No body's beans and rice are worth $ 75.00 and this 3-meal coursemeal was more for like a county jail meal. I have asked my friends that next time I mention this place, I get hit with a baseball bat! Ouch! (There were standing behind me)

Expecations far from met! For $30 dishes were smaller than expected. Camarones a la diabla (2) were tasteless, lacking spice. Main courses were tiny. The previous courses were small portions & most lacked taste. Service overly rushed between courses. Drinks mediocre. Promising but didn't deliver. Sad to see a new establishment start off on such a bad foot. Left displeased and hungry!
