Terrible... and I will never go back! They wanted $5 for a substitution that should cost nothing. Bad attitude too. Would have left, but my date had already ordered, so I got cheapest thing on the menu. Waited forever for the bill, PLUS they charged $2 for plain soda water & called it a club soda! When told the manager's not available, I did something I never do-- NO TIP! Note that I routinely tip 20%, not just 15%. Basically just a loud taqueria with bad food & bad service. Never again!

I absolutely love this place. From the first time I ate here nearly ten years ago...I became obsessed and have introduced several people to this charming spot. I highly recommend the Mole sauce on anything (I dream about it).!!!

Go here often: the cheese & chili quesadillas are really more like empanadas, NO MATTER WHAT YOU CALL THEM THEY ARE FAB!!! THE GREEN CORN TAMALES ARE THE BEST I'VE HAD OUTSIDE OF MEXICO-LITE, FLUFFLY & FLAVORFUL. THE HOUSE MARGARITA TOPS THE ONES IN MEXICO.THE CARNE ASADA & GREEN ENCHIL ARE TO DIE FOR, THE CHARRO BEANS ARE DEVINE! I COULD GO ON & ON. OWNERS ALBERT & SOFIA SET A WONDERFUL TONE OF HOSITALITY & ARE COMMITTED TO QUALITY IN BOTH FOOD & SERVICE.

Love this restaurant. Try the cactus salad with a sprinkling of light mexican cheese.....luv it!

Horrible food. Too bad, really, because it's a great space and (when the restaurant first opened) the meals were flavorful and creative.
