Annie Ventura, CAMy first time was to see Marc Cohn last week. Will never go back. Marc was excellent, but the venue was terrible. Crowded, noisy-people talked louder to hear each other over that pesky music. Dinner was overpriced, plus the server couldn't even find menus. Then brought ONE for our table of 8.Then took that back and gave us different ones with higher prices! Just a miserable experience.Couldn't see the stage without twisting as we were packed in like sardines & couldn't move. Terrible experience. April 12, 2008
Ralph Nadir Westlake, CAI saw Foreigner last night, and let me tell you, it was nothing you would expect from frozen mummies, and less. In summary, an indiscernable show. This band is in common form, I think they've found an individualistic alchemy that allows them to puke testosterone without conciousness. Don't listen to the previous reviewer. I saw him at the show and he wasn't enjoying it at all. He was handing out kits for sending your sperm to aliens. Also I saw him receive a check from the bands lead singer. April 12, 2008
Roy Withers Encino, CAI saw Foreigner last night, and let me tell you, it was everything you would expect from seasoned legends, and more. In summary, an absolutely fantastic show. This band is in rare form, I think they've found a group chemistry that allows them to deliver the goods without pretension or tired stylizations. These guys should be re-introduced to the newest generations of music listeners. They will quickly discover what rock 'n roll was meant to be, and beg for seconds. January 24, 2008
Dennis Ortega oxnard, cAI just want to Thank Jessie for being true to her word, I have had a couple of bad visits at the club but this time after letting Jessie know what went down on those visits I really want her to be recognized for this, we had a big group as usual and we were taken care of we will be back, Thank You Jessie August 6, 2007
S. Newman Malibu, CABought $49 tickets through Ticket Master for Dennis Miller 1 month in advance. Dinner reservations were made for 7 p.m. by calling Canyon Club and telling them we had tickets for the show. Arrived at 6:55 to be told that they had no table for us and that our tickets were for SRO. Save your money!! July 31, 2005
c. cipolla thousand oaks, cawhen hosting an event that will bring in mostly children between the ages of 5and 14 and their parents there should NOT be an SRO only section I spent 37.50 per ticket to stand in a hot club and listen to the filler band for close to an hour. Raven sang at the most 3 songs! Not well planned or organized. In Raven's defense, she stayed for about 3 hours to sign autographs!!! Return to Canyon Club venue details
