Annie Ventura, CAMy first time was to see Marc Cohn last week. Will never go back. Marc was excellent, but the venue was terrible. Crowded, noisy-people talked louder to hear each other over that pesky music. Dinner was overpriced, plus the server couldn't even find menus. Then brought ONE for our table of 8.Then took that back and gave us different ones with higher prices! Just a miserable experience.Couldn't see the stage without twisting as we were packed in like sardines & couldn't move. Terrible experience. April 12, 2008
Ralph Nadir Westlake, CAI saw Foreigner last night, and let me tell you, it was nothing you would expect from frozen mummies, and less. In summary, an indiscernable show. This band is in common form, I think they've found an individualistic alchemy that allows them to puke testosterone without conciousness. Don't listen to the previous reviewer. I saw him at the show and he wasn't enjoying it at all. He was handing out kits for sending your sperm to aliens. Also I saw him receive a check from the bands lead singer. April 12, 2008
Roy Withers Encino, CAI saw Foreigner last night, and let me tell you, it was everything you would expect from seasoned legends, and more. In summary, an absolutely fantastic show. This band is in rare form, I think they've found a group chemistry that allows them to deliver the goods without pretension or tired stylizations. These guys should be re-introduced to the newest generations of music listeners. They will quickly discover what rock 'n roll was meant to be, and beg for seconds.
