Actually, this is a review of the Times' reviewer--are you kidding??? Southern corn bread, my dear, is NEVER sweet, Northern corn bread is the sweet, cakey one. Gosh, what an expert you aren't.

Extremely unwilling to accomodate clientele which I thought was very rude. Not that I haven't eaten there over 50 ttimes in the last three years and they treated me as if I just walked off the street. I'm never going there or any other Smith Brothers owned store again. The success has gone to their head.

COMFORT food? Super Mom Brittany Spears could do better. Potato chips glopped with super glue grease, so heavy they could shovel cement. "The Smitty" salad: browning iceberg (iceberg cost what?), slimy tomatoes (abandoned in the rotter), and "white shrimp" (a prize? pallid farm raised). A sandwich of dusty dry, thick as a brick bread, with folded pressed worn meat, thus pretending to look big. Topped with a somnombulant bartender.
