Checking into a scenic 'Hotel'

Pantera Sarah's "Hotel Californicate" is killing it at Shag. The new Monday night dance club has the juice of her Mondays at Joseph's (the star-studded club where Britney Spears met Kevin Federline). Such hotties as Nick Lachey, Matt Leinart, Terrell Owens, the Hilton sisters and "Yo Momma!'s" Wilmer Valderrama booked booths at "Hotel" on Monday, where DJ Vice inspired everyone to dance on the booths. On May 11, Sarah returns to the Cabana Club on Thursdays, where she's hosting a bash for the David Beckham flick "Goal." ... Top Hollywood doorman Steven Harlow is hosting Mondays at Tokio (sans cover), where he books the Abe Frohman Showmen, a DJ collective that took its name from "Ferris Buehler's Day Off" (picture Matthew Broderick making lunch reservations as the sausage king of Chi-town). Among those who've kicked it recently at Tokio are Wesley Snipes, Jeremy Renner and the Clippers' Cuttino Mobley. Harlow is also hosting a Friday night dance club at the Cabana Club with actor Michael Bellisario, and the two have teamed up for a Saturday night soiree at Shag, premiering this weekend.... We hear that Memphis is the official post-show hangout now for the Clippers. It must be all the chicks.

Swimming across L.A.

Xenii is launching its Sunday pool parties again this June, with plans to float between hotels and beachside mansions each week.... In do-gooder news, actresses Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Amy Yasbeck threw down on Sunday at the Carpe Diem/Santa Monica Classic race, which raised money for Heal the Bay. Bumped into longtime scenester Michael Taub at Mile 1, who says Weezer and the Donnas turned out for the recent Betty Blowtorch DVD bash at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery .... Bootie L.A. returns to the Echo in Echo Park on Saturday night for more rump-shaking mash-ups (we hear this month's hot track is "Big Shot Pimpin'," which pits Billy Joel against Jay-Z).

Candle crowd at the Abbey

The Abbey in WeHo celebrated its 15th anniversary last week with visits from pop star Christina Aguilera and "pink mafia" icon Joseph Gannascoli, who plays the recently outed "Sopranos" heavy.... Anthrax's Scott Ian tells me to mark the calendar for May 21, when he's premiering "SuperGroup," a VH1 show starring Ian, Ted Nugent, Sebastian Bach, Jason Bonham and Evan Seinfeld. The event takes place at the House of Blues Foundation Room in WeHo.... Hot party to crash: "Girls Gone Wild" mogul Joe Francis' birthday bash at Magic Mountain on May 13, where guests get to preview the new bad-to-the-bone rolly coaster Tatsu, which invites guests to "fly at the speed of fear."
