antoher been there done that film , shot prettily but with no passion. almost like the talented sivan is enamored by his ONCE exceptional talent as a cinematographer. boring. this is what SMALL success does to talent. it kills it as it becomes indulgent and self possessed. how sad. sick of these relentless themes. CAN WE PLEASE MOVE ON????????

Saw this movie at the recent Tribeca Film Festival and absolutely loved it. It is so beautiful to look at and the performances are remarkable. It's a classically told story, shown in a whole new way. It comes from Merchant Ivory (haven't seen anything from them in a long time), but they clearly haven't lost their touch. A great film!!
