Anne Parker Pacific Grove , CAI saw this film while in LA at Outfest. Very engaging story of a group of friends and their day-to-day life. Reminded me of many French flicks I have seen & loved. Great music. Great editing - not in-you-face-fast as most American movies. Hard to believe this is Chris Johnson's first film - his techniques are more honed than many experienced directors. Go see it! May 12, 2009
Timothy Gonyon Los Angeles, CAI saw this film at Outfest and highly recommend it. The title makes it sound glib perhaps - but it is a really deep and subtle story with strong characters and nuanced relationships. And it shows something I've never seen in an American movie - or any movie, come to think of it - close friendships between gay and straight young men that don't devolve into the usual cliche. This director is someone to watch. Also, Nicole Bilderback is genius in this. She was "Whitney" in BRING IT ON. Return to The New Twenty details
