Shoot on sight is an intense movie that revolves around a Muslim police officer following the events of the UK Underground bombings in 05. This movie is really unique because it shows Muslims and terrorism in a new way. The issues raised are especially intriguing. The movie itself was well made. Some of the actors performances including Naseerudin Shah and Om Puri were spectacular. Some of the scenes were so intense I was literally gripping the chair. Overall I would say this movie is incredibly and definitely a have to see. Rick LA, CA

This is a really compelling movie. The sports action is great even if you don't know much about rugby (which i don't.) And the personal relationship story is very powerful without being too sappy. It's worth seeing just to experience the pre-game ritual "haka" of this rugby team. Wayne Baruch Los Angeles, CA

I attended a pre-release screening of 'Hounddog' with our Women In Film group, and was deeply touched and moved by this impressive film. Director Kampmeier successfully exposes a raw and dark reality that all wish were untrue, many want to hide, but most must endure. Audience reaction was unanimous and affected by this insightful and multi-faceted portrait of conflicted characters struggling against challenging circumstances. Our post-screening discussion turned into a debate of sorts, with no consensus as to which performer was more deserving of an Oscar nod: Dakota Fanning's complex and innocent adventurer, Piper Laurie's dogmatically judgmental Grandmother role, or Robin Wright Penn's loving but abused character.
