Thank god for the little guys! You never know what to expect from a little place.Wow.Great Mocha! Smooth!A very warm and inviting atmosphere.I sat for a little while in one of the big overstuffed chairs and read my book. The staff was courteous and friendly as I would expect .There is a place to plug in my laptop.I didn't try the pastries. But, they did look good.Smoking happens at most coffeehouses.I can deal with it.I don't know when I'll go back there, but,I will definatly be back.

We have been dining at El Paso for a few years...and enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Not pretentious, just friendly. This is a family owned and operated place. Ted, the owner, is very attentive.

Old fashioned chinese food as I remember as a kid (Eddie Moy's of Downey) was the best. MT reminds me of that old school chinese food. Place wasn't real crowded mid week for lunch, but it seemed the people there were regulars. Service a bit slow for the place being half full. Would go back, food is good.

This is a no frills tepenyaki resturant with really good food. I think the cook that seasons the food just right every single time is Tora. If you do find yourself eating there, request him, it is well worth it.(he is mixed Japanese and caucasion from Japan with a storng accent, and a very pleasant man)

La Pergola

To counter the negative reviews, I love this restaurant. Quiet, pleasant atmosphere, and I enjoy the light, delicate, healthy flavors. I'm a vegetarian and acknowledge that such eating does not always have the strong flavors that perhaps some of the other patrons expected. It's still tasty, with some unusual offerings. People I've introduced to the place like it.
