Yum, yum, YUMMY! What a treat to dine at Wilson- from the sumptuous house salad to the tenderest ahi I ever inhaled (a special- hope it appears again!). Delish berry cobbler & chocolate cake... Service warm & attentive, decor comfy & hip. Can't wait to go back for more!

While I agree that this is this outstanding chef's finest effort yet, I must point out that he is the son of the late Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys, and the nephew of Brian. That being said, get there while you can still get a table!

My wife and I have followed chef Michael Wilson from the late 5 Dudley in Venice to Avenue in Manhattan Beach. His new namesake trumps them both. Some of the incredible dishes:The B.L.E.T. open-face sandwich (E as in eel-you read it right);Broiled ono w/roasted summer vegetables;African-spiced pulled-pork open-face;Lobster ravioli in two sauces. An absolute must:Pastry chef Nina's light yet sinful desserts (Fresh peach panna cotta;A decadent caramel cake;An essential mango mousse).Bravo Wilson!
