Cafe Beaujolais is a true gem in Eagle Rock. The food is good and the wait staff is great. Prices are in the $20 range and has a nice wine list. Two thumbs up

the service here is a problem particularly one waiter who "served" us last night ,who fancies himself a sort of "star" of the restaurant and acts like he is doing us a favor. now the food: nothing special . the best thing on the plate we all ordered (there were 5 of us) were the mashed beets...sad. the onion soup was also good. since cafe beaujolais came well recommended, i will try it again but the service is a problem and at their marginally high prices, this must improve.

The atmosphere is quaint and charming, and the waiters are fun and attentive. But we go there for the food. I usually get the filet mignon, which is as good as any I have had (and half the price as elsewhere). Every other dish I've had has ranged from scrumpous to amazing. Better than anything else is the desserts, including the tarts. We discovered Cafe Beaujolais about a year ago, and now we come here every other time we eat out. It's that good.

Really terrific food---everything on the plate tastes like somebody really put some thought into it. I had the chicken and mirelle mushrooms. Delish! Great soup and wine, too!

I love this place. The fact that the waiters are dreamy only adds to the beauty of the decor and lighting and the simple perfection of the food. Every dish I've had here is wonderful. The vegetables are amazing. The chocolate puff pastry for dessert is rich but that's what I usually want in a chocolate pastry dessert. Did I mention the waiters being incredibly handsome and speaking French? It is a delightful experience. Highly recommended!

This is our family's favorite restaurant, not only because the waiters are all fluent in French, but also because the food is superb, consistently delicious. Truly this is our favorite Southland restaurant. Everyone is always polite; and the service is great--with a French flourish. On our anniversary last year, the handsomest waiter sang us an appropriate, original song he made up for the occasion, singing a cappella, just to make our celebration more festive!

I have been in love with Beaujolais ever since the first time i went there a few years ago on my birthday with my parents and some friends. They even have cute, French waiters! The creme brulee is unspeakably good, as are all of the entrees and appetizers. I especially like the broccoli soup and a dish that consists of a plump chicken breast wrapped in puff pastry and served with a sweet wine sauce. Basically, you just need to go to taste for yourself.

So much better than the last time I ate here. My partner and I ate here tonight. I had the rabbit; he, the rack of lamb. Both were just excellent. The food was served hot and so delicious. The starter soup of asparagus was very good --- not too salty. Had the delicious banana tart with ice cream for dessert. Service was attentive and even. The chef is the same as the last visit. He sure got it together this evening.
