B.Baron Boca Raton, FLIt's too bad "The Shelter" is closing on March 5th. This is the most thought provoking play I've seen in a long time. The energy and commitment of the entire cast and the unique staging, lighting, sound and especially the direction of Valery Belyakovich is superb. B. Baron February 14, 2006
Sy Cohan NY, NYJust returned home after visiting relatives and friends in LA. "The Shelter" belongs in a larger theater and would probably be better appreciated by a more sophisticated NY audience. This is thought provoking, in your face theater. Excellent performances by a dedicated cast, terrific staging, lighting, sound and superb direction. S.Cohan, NY February 13, 2006

jeff greene los angles, caWhen I saw this wonderful piece, I thought it was the greatest thing I'd seen in Los Angeles in quite some time. I highly recommend you see this great work. This is classic theatre. February 12, 2006
Joe Rudolph Van Nuys, CaI just saw a mesmerizing performance of the play the shelter at the Odessey theatre. Visually the play was stunning, the acting movement and direction were all top notch. I was moved, stimualted, and provoked to think about life, and our inhumanity to our fellow man. Excelllant three diminsional preformances by all the actors especially Imelda Corcoran, Donald Lacy, Pasha Lychnikoff, Larry Gelmen , Nicole Ansari-Cox and John Marzill. Best show to hit L.A. theatre in years February 11, 2006
Tomas Arana Hollywood, , CAThis production is so rare for Los Angeles. Finally a real theatre production and not a showcase production that is done just for actors to be seen and hopefully cast in TV and Film. If you want a soap opera or a sitcom on stage, this is not the show for you. But if you would like to challenge yourself and provoke thoughts in your brain, this is a production for you, making theatre an experience that keeps it special, unlike TV or film. The direction is brilliant. The cast is highly professional and dedicated and push themselves to the limit. Some are great, most good, a few have some difficulties. Life is short, theatre makes it worthwhile when done like this. If you want to wallow in nothingness and boredom of TV and "safe formula films", stay home. If you want to live life and get some cobwebs shaken up, go see THE SHELTER. Tomas Arana February 11, 2006
Liza Savage-Katz Los Angeles, CAThought provoking and inquisitive. Exploring the inner reaches and beliefs that would lead those to end up living in a shelter with none or little hope of a better life. Visually stimulating as well. A must see! Return to The Shelter details
