This show was not what I expected. For some reason I thought Dame Edna's performance would be more like a quit witted, irreverant drag show. Instead, it was boring, uninteresting, and unintelligent. I had seen the Dame before on TV and apperances, and there she seemed much funnier. This show is for the mild mannered, family types..who like humor that is spoon fed and safe. Even the 'improv' seemed scripted and forced, and the people brought up on stage were mild, boring, and seemed pre-picked. My friend and I actually left before the end of the second act. I'm all for gay icons, but Dame Edna is now off my list.
