Calling all Mamet fans and anyone else who wants to journey back to the 70s for laughs and a lot of great music. The entire cast is excellent, especially Pip Newson as the bitter, jealous school teacher. Do yourself a favor and check out this entertaining show.

Saw a hilarious production of "sexual perversity in chicago" on a monday night in burbank at the skypilot theatre. it was like time travelling back to 1976- great music and a lot of fun- if you like mamet, this is a must see!

I go to a lot of theater and I have to say, I do not remember the last time I laughed out loud as much during a play. I am not a huge Mamet fan nor a huge fan of this play in particular but this was an enjoyable experience. The director did a great job with this piece and kept it lively and moving and grounded. The cast should be commended for their comittment with special kudos for Kyle Bornheimer's nuanced comic timing. See it.

Truly well done! Very fun show. Perfectly cast and well directed. You will certainly laugh and find yourself groovin' to the hip tunes of the seventies! Don't miss it!

The play was terrific. Absolutlely hilarious. A laugh a minute with great acting. The casting was great, especially Julie Mintz, who played the part of Deborah perfectly. For timeless wrting, superb acting, and a good laugh, I highly recommend this play.

I was hanging out at Priscilla's coffee shop next to the theater and someone said there's a free show next door so I went. I'd have paid to see it, it was really good!! It was so quick and the actors seemed to be having lots of fun and the audience was totally into it. All the actors were excellent but the Joan character stood out most - she just took over the stage and was funny and strange all at the same time. Super cool 70's tunes too. I'm an old timer so just loved the whole thing.

I loved it. Such a pleasant surprise and a great way to spend an evening. It's a delightful and quick (75 min) laugh-a-minute good time. I loved everything about it and thought the casting was perfection. Highly recommend.

Absolutely hilarious! Bob Rusch excels as the lovingly dispicable Bernie Litko! A must see for any Mamet lover.

Pip Newson shines as Joan in this latest production of Sexual Perversity In Chicago. She is hilarious as the bitter and hurt school teacher -Her comedic intelligence radiates right out of her saucerlike eyeballs. The show is fast paced with superb costumes and well chosen 70's music.
