The Geffen Playhouse presents the West Coast premiere of Neil LaBute's spare parable about a man struggling between peer pressure and his plus-size girlfriend. Jo Bonney ably directs a cast that now includes Ashlie Atkinson, who originated the role to which the title refers, but the play lacks the queasy, compelling force of LaBute's stronger work.
