Houston-based performance artist Elia Arce uses a combination of theater, music, film, video and installation to explore the complex contradictions facing U.S. soldiers in Iraq.

Nadia McCaffrey will do a reading that honors mothers and fathers who have lost their sons or daughters in Iraq. McCaffrey was the first mother to allow the arrival of her son home from the war in a casket to be aired on national TV. The performance will also incorporate two ex-Marines, Matthew Howard and Cameron White, who both served two terms in Iraq.
