You can call Carrie Fisher many things -- an unflagging exhibitionist for starters -- but she has a candor that makes her a most reliable witness to the far-fetched autobiography that is at once her curse and cure. For humorous company, Fisher's a winner, though a legit venue like the Geffen sets the bar unnecessarily high for a patched-together cabaret that's roughly 98% gossipy patter, 2% song.

Larry Los Angeles, CAUnless you are into self-indulgent, narcissistic name dropping, skip this play. Aside from staccato one line zingers thrown out there for cheap laughs, this 105 minute monologue was simply boring. I really don't care how many times she argues with Paul Simon, or how promiscuous her father was. I sat there hoping for some insight into addiction or Hollywood or relationships, and I left the auditorium still waiting. Write a review | Read more reviews Current, Upcoming
