I saw the first preview performance of "Clay," and was blown away by the theatricality and the incredible performance by Matt Sax. I rarely enjoy one-person shows, but this show illustrates the heights to which that form can rise. Special mention must be made of the artful lighting. Bravo to those who decided to take a chance on this show for the Kirk Douglas Theater audience.

More people really need to see this play! This performance absolutely grabs you. Matt Sax manages to give a performance that sells itself to everyone regardless of whether they would usually like Hip Hop music. The story line was enough to keep everyone watching. I can't stress enough just how much I enjoyed this play and performance. I went with someone who avidly disliked hip hop, and they left saying it was the best 1 person performance they have ever seen.
