Reader reviews: Write a review | Read more reviews This original musical revue features the lyrics of "closet songwriter" Betty Garrett, the gamine and durable star who, at age 88, sings, dances, shares anecdotes and spearheads a ready cast. Some of the songs are charming, but too many of the offerings from her capacious closet should have been sent to Goodwill.

Lisa F. Encino, CALOVED the show! Way beyond my expectations. Betty was really on her game tonight too. I was surprised at how every song, regardless that they were unfamiliar, held my attention. Betty is so professional and charming. Lots of celebs too: Nanette Fabray, Pat Harrington Jr., Nancy Dusseault w/ her gorgeous hubby Val Meyer, Brad Ellis of Forbidden Broadway fame, Eydie Alyson...the singer... Totally fun! Tracy Gore Los Angeles, CAWhile watching this 88 years-young non-surgical beauty you get a sense that she has lived life to the hilt - appreciating friends and family through her thoughtfully written lyrics. Her movements give more than a hint of the great dancer that she was in her MGM musicals. What a treat!! The cast of 8 communicate the longing, insight and humor of her songs. Lee Meriwether is riveting as she acted and sang out the lyrics with nuance and sparkling eyes. One of the most touching songs I've heard in a long time, "Remember Me," is dedicated to her granddaughter - the lovely music written by her son Garrett Parks with her lyrics truly pulled at my heart.
