First produced in 1979, this word-for-word sampling from the transcripts of the notorious 1969 trial in which the U.S. government prosecuted the "Chicago Eight" for deliberately inciting riots at the 1968 Democratic Convention is strikingly timely in subject matter. However, in purely theatrical terms, it is somewhat laborious.
