the play is excellent, and the sight of actor Peter Kadrona in his underwear is an added bonus!

Sarah Treem is a smart, original new voice. Her A Feminine Ending features clever and often very funny dialog, whose intelligence elevates it above the sitcom level as its plot moves in unexpected directions. Treem understands the differences in the ways men and women think and behave and has created five interesting, flawed, yet mostly sympathetic characters. The lovely Brooke Bloom is eminently believable as a talented and intelligent (though not always brave) young woman. Sexy Peter Katona is equally credible as a young rock star on the rise. Amy Aquino gives a beautifully comedic, three-dimensional portrait of a talented woman who chose marriage over career and has lived to have second thoughts. Alan Blumenfeld is excellent and Jedadiah Schultz is a young Jack Nicholson. Director Timothy Douglas keeps his actors grounded in reality. Read my full review at www.LAStageScene.com.

Sarah Treem's engaging script shows a promising young feminist playwright beginning to find her voice .While the play takes the first 30 minutes to hit its stride, the last 60 minutes of this intermissionless place really hit home. The production is beautifully designed, directed and acted.

This is a terrific produciton. Playwright Sarah Treem is so keen on current trend that she has concocted such a poignant tale about choices people are facing nowadays. Kudos go to all actors; especially our heroine, Brooke Bloom (Amanda). Both Peter Katona (Jack) and Jedadiah Schultz (Billy) are sexy and funny. They had perfect timing of being goofy and sincere. I am really glad to start off my new year with this enjoyable play.
