Nilaja Sun stands and delivers in her dynamic one-woman show, which teems with the students, teachers and staff workers of the fictitious (but all too credible) Malcolm X High School in the Bronx. It's a tough place, more like a penitentiary than a college-prep school. Sun, a gifted theatrical chameleon, shows why every child deserves better.

    From article: "...the racist and sexist name-calling..." When the politically correct use the term racist, they simply mean white Gentiles who discriminate. It is a racial slur directed only at white Gentiles. Racist = honky, or honky-ish. So, the translation of your quote would be: "...the honk-ish and sexist name-calling..."
