Cue the straw hats, tight glutes and heartbreak: Michael Bennett's groundbreaking 1975 musical is a time capsule of the Me Decade's emphasis on self-liberation. Much of the original creative team has been reunited for this revival, and the result is a polished, energetic production, but one that offers little in the way of surprise or rediscovery.
