Times rating:
Readers' rating: Unrated Reader reviews: Write a review Nicholas Martin directs a sensational revival of John Guare's classic black comedy about a zookeeper from Queens who's prepared to ditch his family to realize his pipe dream of becoming an Oscar-winning songwriter. The cast, headed by John Pankow, Jane Kaczmarek and Kate Burton, adroitly handles the demands of a play that shifts rapidly between comedy and tragedy and literally explodes at one point into all-out farce.
