Fabulous! The intimate setting at Pacific Resident Theatre puts the audience right in the center action in Brecht's perfect modern passion play of all-corrupting greed & abuse of amorally selfish power. Dalia Vosylius is totally outstanding in her star turn as conflicted street preacher, Joan Dark, supported by an excellent ensemble cast whose fine performances, especially those of Andrew Parks, Robin Becker, Daniel Riordan & Norman Scott as sleazy, manipulating titans of industry, give a contemporary cutting edge to Peter Mellencamp's great translation under Michael Rothhaar's wonderful direction, with Norman Scott's inspired set & lighting design. See it soon!

All I can say is wow. It is hard to believe that this play was written 80 years ago... as it deals so specifically with what is going on right now. The translation by Peter Mellencamp is sparkling. The direction by Michael Rothaar is crisp, smooth and lightning quick. The cast lead by the tremendously talented Dalia Vosylius as Joan Dark is superbly supported by the suave Anderew Parks as industrialist Pierpont Mauler and Norman Scott who plays a particularly diabolical broker- Sullivan Slift. The rest of the cast, and the rest of the production are equally superb. This is a must see production. Pacific Resident Theatre hits another towering grand slam!
