Deconstructing Euripides' classic tragedy into a current-day collage, adaptor-designer Charles Duncombe and director Frédérique Michel pull few punches in the wake of burning Illium. Aided by a marvelous ensemble, the approach risks overload, but if the aim is to yank the saga into our consciousness, this company watershed is a triumph.
