The beloved flying nanny comes to L.A. in the touring version of the supercalifragilistic musical based on P.L. Travers' stories and the 1964 Walt Disney film. Ashley Brown (as Poppins) and Gavin Lee (as the chimney sweep), reprise their roles from the original 2006 Broadway production. Richard Eyre directs, with co-direction and choreography by Matthew Bourne.
Schedule notes: Additional shows are scheduled for Nov. 25, Dec. 23, Dec. 30 and Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. On Dec. 24 and 31, performances will be at 2 p.m. only. The theater will be dark on Thanksgiving (Nov. 26), Christmas Day and New Year's Day. No public performance Dec. 9. No evening performance on Feb. 7.
