The Orange County Performing Arts Center opened in September 1986 with Segerstrom Hall and Founders Hall. This year, The Center celebrates its 20th anniversary with the opening of the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall and Samueli Theater. The new facility, the adjacent South Coast Repertory theater complex and the site for a future visual arts facility, will be known as Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and is connected to the existing venues by a public arts plaza.
