Absolutely wonderful!!! I've seen it once and am going to go again. Definitely targeted towards a younger audience but the performers are on top of their game.

So sorry to report that this is why people make fun of LA theater. The jokes were funny if you were a DUMB kid and the whole show was built endlessly around them. Peewee's Playhouse was so much funnier. My dog pooping is funnier. It was a packed house and 3/4 of the audience sat in stunned silence because this show was neither funny nor dramatic. And if you think this show is hip, you must be living in solitary confinement. Reality tv is better than this. Disney channel is hysterical. MTV is briliant. This one belongs to the kiddies, so produce it for them...during assembly. TCG - you undermine LA theater with this one.

I think the person below must be one of the oldsters I saw walking out when I saw this fantastic show! I had a bloody bloody awesome time! The cast did a great job and I loved the music. Kudos to those that decided to produce it! I hope they keep presenting this type of material at the Kirk Douglas and drive the grandma's out. Bring it on!

I thought this play was bloody bloody TERRIBLE. What were they thinking letting people see it? I think kids along with adults either fell asleep or walked out. I know i did both. Poor kids, they'll be scarred for life. The costumes were absoloutley horriffic! I hated everything about this production. If you cherish your life....DONT STEP FOOT IN ANY THEATRE THAT IS PUTTING ON THIS PRODUCTION!

I thought that this play was well written and well directed. I really loved the costumes. They really made certain characters pop. They were very creative and one of the best parts of this entire production. Emily Rebholz (the costume designer) did a fantastic job! i loved this play!

Boring, Pointless, not particularly amusing or entertaining, well staged. The guitar player hidden in the shadows at the side of the stage thinks he is Slash. I can't wait for Greasy Greasy Bill Clinton.

The concept is brilliant, the execution horrible. The cast was having a much better time than the audienced, as evidenced by the numerous walk-outs the night I was there. As a college or community theatre production it would be tolerable, but this show ain't ready for prime time.
