Although it has moments of humor and charm, Jonathan Tolins' world premiere about the uneven relationship between an aging theatrical titan and his youthful protégé is overly discursive and under-plotted. However, Tony-winner John Glover's moving performance as a casually destructive mentor is well worth seeing.
