The Andrews Brothers
musical.org
Times rating:
Readers' rating: Reader reviews: Write a review | Read more reviews This World War II-era jukebox musical has a storyline so intrinsically specious -- three brothers, in drag, pretend to be the Andrews Sisters at a USO show in the South Pacific -- that it makes a Judy Garland-Mickey Rooney movie seem Shakespearean. Yet if you are not averse to lighter-than-air entertainment without the ballast of plot, you are likely to have plenty of fun.

Betsy Conlin Newport Beach, CAMy husband and I loved this show. Great music, great performers, and act two had us giggling for days afterwards. We're coming back to bring my mother-in-law -- I'm sure she'll love this trip down memory lane. Write a review | Read more reviews |
