Anne Mazer
Auditions are held for a presentation of the play "Peter Pan." Abby tries out for the role of Wendy, but know-it-all Breanna gets it, and Abby is stuck with being the narrator. Will she be a star like the rest of the family? Read the book to find out. Reviewed by Emily, 7 Welby Way Magnet School West Hills "Rascal" Sterling North The story begins on a dark night when Sterling finds a raccoon and bonds with it. He names it Rascal. You should read this book because it tells about a boy and a raccoon having a great friendship. Rascal and Sterling go on adventures, adventures and adventures. Rascal even bites Sterling's archenemy. I really liked this story because it has a lot of animal stuff in it and is sometimes very funny. One time, Rascal washes his sugar lump, it disappears and he can't figure it out. Of course, it has to stop sometime. One day in spring everything changes. But I can't tell you about those changes, can I? Because you need to read "Rascal" for yourself!
