THE EMMYS Live commentary from last night's Emmy Awards show September 18, 2005 You Can't Keep HBO Down for Long NEW YORK Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie goes to Geoffrey Rush, for "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers." From "Grey's Anatomy," Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo. She's a twig! Mary-Kate Olson could easily take her down. They present: Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special, and Writing. Both go to "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers." Didn't this movie get middling reviews? One of the writers thanked Peter Sellers, because without him the "movie would have been very hard to write." The middling reviews seem even more plausible. HBO just seems to have a lock on these categories. Posted by Kate Aurthur at September 18, 2005 06:45 PM Comments Post a comment |
