An immortal coffee shop, dating from 1944. Like eating at grandma's house with two desserts -- Jell-O and tapioca pudding. Fresh baked goods and T-shirts for sale. Claw machine with toys and astrology vending machine in lobby. Coffee shop carries on the memory of the original Dolores Drive-in.

Cross street: Purdue Avenue

Such a cool and unpretentious place! Food is pretty good, but you don't necessarily come here just for the food. You come here in the middle of the night just 'cuz it's there. It's so classic and old skool, and not in a shee-shee fake Hollywood way. It's genuine. And the freshly squeezed orange juice is awesome! As is the pancake sandwich, my favorite!
