House of Blues
Hours: Daily, 11:30 a.m.-2 a.m. Readers' rating: Reader reviews: Write a review | Read other reviews ![]() Though its Mississippi Delta by way of Disneyland approach to decorating may be a bit much to take, the celebrity owners of this chain of restaurants and live music venues can certainly be proud of their concert calendar. And they run a tight ship -- if the time on the ticket says 8 p.m., the first band will take the stage not long after, a somewhat unusual policy for a Los Angeles club. Parking may be a bit steep (it is the Sunset Strip, after all), but considering that this has become the room of choice for up-and-coming and established performers of all genres, it's a small price to pay.

Mr. D Los Angeles, CAOn July 17 th went to see Ska Band "VIERNES 13 ". wHAT AN AWESOME BAND every one had a great time and the restaraunt security people handled all the mosh pit kids great. Viernes 13 has a great sound and the energy is unbelievable. I would recommend HOB to all my friends and to check out Viernes 13 asap. The horn section is really hot ,vocals are strong and their bass , lead guitar and drummer are awesome. Hope HOB invites them again to play. Write a review | Read more reviews Venue Details
